Terms and conditions
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. General
These terms set out the rules for sending requests and orders for sanding of wooden floors, parquet restoration, lacquering and oiling, parquet laying and stair sanding, and the rules for using the site. The services are provided by Marcin Przybyła, a sole trader operating under the name MParkiety Cyklinowanie Kalisz - Marcin Przybyła (the Contractor). We work at the place the Client names, in Kalisz and the surrounding area.
A Client is anyone who sends a request or an order. A Consumer is a Client who is an individual and enters a contract not directly related to their business or profession. A Business is a Client who orders in connection with their business.

2. Requests and quotes
A request can be sent with the form on the site, by e-mail to kontakt@mparkiety.pl or by phone on +48 729 281 790. A preliminary quote is free and does not commit you to anything.
A preliminary quote is based on the information and photos from the Client, so it is only an estimate. We give the final price and lead time after inspecting the floor or stairs on site. A quote states the scope of work, price, estimated lead time and type of finish.
3. Forming the contract
The contract is formed when the Client accepts the final quote, for example by replying to it by e-mail or text message. We start work only after acceptance. Changing the scope of work, type of finish or colour after acceptance needs a new quote.
4. Photos and files
- in the form we accept photos (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC) up to 16 MB and PDF files up to 4 MB. Send larger files by e-mail,
- photos are meant to help with the quote. Please do not include people or documents in them. The Client declares that they have the right to the photos they provide,
- we use the Client photos only to prepare the quote and carry out the job. We do not publish them without the Client consent,
- the Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information they give about the floor, for example the type of wood, earlier work and underfloor heating.
5. Inspection and scope of work
- after the inspection we tell the Client about the condition of the floor and what can be done. The wear layer of an old floor can be too thin for full sanding. In that case we say so after the inspection and propose a different scope of work or advise against sanding,
- if hidden defects come to light during the work, such as damaged boards, damp or loose parquet, we tell the Client and agree what to do. Extra work needs the Client consent and may change the price and lead time,
- wood is a natural material. Its grain and colour vary between boards, and the final shade after lacquering or oiling may differ from samples, colour charts and photos on the site. We show samples, but we do not guarantee an identical shade,
- sanding creates dust. We use equipment with dust extraction, but we cannot fully rule out dust settling in the room.
6. Client obligations
- the Client gives access to the rooms on the agreed date and clears them of furniture and equipment, unless agreed otherwise,
- the Client provides electricity and water at the place of work,
- drying time depends on the type of lacquer or oil, temperature and humidity. We give the Client the drying time and care instructions, and the Client follows them. Walking on the floor early, placing furniture or laying rugs may damage it, and we are not liable for such damage,
- if the Client does not provide access or conditions for the work, we may set a new date and charge documented travel costs.
7. Price and payment
Prices are given in zloty in the quote. Payment is in cash or by bank transfer, on the basis of an invoice or a bill. The payment term and, where needed, a deposit are given in the quote.
8. Lead time
We set the lead time after the inspection because it depends on the area, the condition of the floor and the drying time of the finish. If we see that we will miss it, we tell the Client at once and agree a new date.
9. Complaints
- send a complaint by e-mail to kontakt@mparkiety.pl or by phone. Describe the defect and attach photos. We reply within 14 days of receiving it,
- towards Consumers we are liable for defects under the statutory warranty rules of the Civil Code. Towards Businesses we apply the rules set in the quote and, otherwise, the provisions of the Civil Code,
- we do not treat as a defect the natural features of wood, the differences in shade described in section 5, or damage caused by not following the care and drying instructions,
- please tell us about a defect as soon as possible and let us see it on site,
- towards Businesses the Contractor liability is limited to the value of the job and does not cover lost profits.
10. Withdrawing from the contract
A Consumer who has entered a contract away from our business premises or at a distance generally has 14 days to withdraw from it without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the contract is made. The statement of withdrawal can be sent by e-mail to kontakt@mparkiety.pl.
If the Consumer expressly asks us to start work before this period ends and the service is fully performed, the right of withdrawal is lost. If the Consumer withdraws after work has started, they pay for what we have done so far, in proportion to the scope of work. The Consumer makes the request to start work in the quote or in a separate statement.
Before accepting the final quote the Client can back out at no cost. Withdrawing from the contract does not take away the Consumer warranty rights.
11. Electronic services
The quote form on the site is free. The service is sending a single request and ends when it is sent. Using the site needs a browser with JavaScript. Sending unlawful content and files with malicious software is forbidden. Report problems with the site to kontakt@mparkiety.pl.
12. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, available on the site.
13. Final provisions
Polish law applies to matters not covered here. A Consumer can use out-of-court ways of handling complaints and pursuing claims, for example the help of a county or city consumer ombudsman, or mediation or the arbitration court at the Voivodeship Inspectorate of Trade Inspection.
These terms take effect on the day of publication. Jobs agreed earlier are governed by the version in force on the day of the contract. The current version is published on this page.
