2. What data we process

We process the data you give us and basic technical data from visits to the site:

  • data from the quote form: your name or company name, e-mail address, phone number, preferred way of contact and your answers about the job,
  • photos and PDF files you attach to the form (for example photos of a floor or stairs). Photos may show the inside of your home, so please do not include people or documents in them, and do not send personal data that is not needed for the quote,
  • the content of e-mails and phone calls about the job,
  • the address of the place where the work is done, and data needed for the invoice, such as an address and tax number, if you give them when the job is carried out,
  • technical and statistical data from visits to the site: the page visited, browser and system type, screen size, language and country. We do not identify you from it.

3. Why and on what legal basis

  • preparing a quote, contacting you and carrying out the job: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of the contract) and, for the consent ticked in the form, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time, but then we cannot prepare the quote. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it,
  • keeping accounts, issuing invoices and tax settlements: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation),
  • establishing, pursuing and defending claims, and handling complaints: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the legitimate interest of the Controller),
  • anonymous visit statistics and improving the site: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Who receives the data

We entrust data only to the providers whose services we use to run the site and the business. They act on our behalf or under their own legal rules:

  • Airtable: the database where we keep quote requests and jobs,
  • UploadThing: storage of the photos and files sent in the form,
  • Cloudflare: hosting of the site,
  • Umami: anonymous visit statistics, without cookies, passed through our server,
  • the e-mail provider we use for correspondence,
  • an accounting office or accountant, if we use one for settlements.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers are based or have servers outside the European Economic Area, among others in the United States. The data is then protected by standard contractual clauses or by a European Commission decision on an adequate level of protection, depending on the provider. On request we will tell you which safeguard a given provider uses.

6. How long we keep data

  • a request that did not lead to a job: up to 12 months from the last contact,
  • job data: until claims become time-barred, but no longer than 6 years,
  • accounting documents: 5 years counted from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose,
  • photos and files sent in the form: until the job is finished. After that we delete them on your request or after 12 months at the latest, unless we agree otherwise,
  • visit statistics: in anonymous form, with no way to link them to you.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy,
  • have your data corrected,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on a legitimate interest,

Giving data is voluntary, but your name, e-mail address and a description of the job are needed for us to prepare a quote. We make no automated decisions about you and do not profile you.

10. Cookies and browser storage

The site does not use cookies, so we show no consent window. In the browser storage (localStorage) we keep only the language you chose and the light or dark theme. These settings stay on your device and do not reach us. You can delete them in your browser settings.

11. Confidentiality of photos and files

We do not share clients photos and files with anyone except the providers from section 4 that store them. Photos of interiors are used only to prepare the quote and carry out the job.
