How it works

  1. Call us

Tell us what kind of floor it is and what is wrong with it. We will arrange a date for a site visit.

    or

    Send photos

A few photos of the floor, close up and from a distance, are enough for a first quote.

  2. Site visit and quote

We check the condition of the wood and the gaps, advise on the finish and give you a price and a date.

  3. Sanding and finishing

We remove the old layer, fill the gaps and apply lacquer or oil.

  4. Handover

We go over the floor with you and tell you when the furniture can go back and how to look after it.

Services

From a single room to a whole flat, an office or a staircase.

Renovate instead of replace

Parquet that is several decades old rarely needs replacing. We remove the worn layer, fill the gaps and protect the wood for years to come.

  • Removal of old lacquer and the worn top layer of wood
  • Several passes with finer and finer sandpaper
  • Filling gaps and small damage
  • Lacquer or oil to finish

Finishes

We choose lacquer or oil to suit how the floor will be used.

Lakier matowy

Matt lacquer, a hard-wearing lacquer for parquet

A hard, clear coating with no sheen. The wood looks raw, but it is protected.

Best for
Living rooms, bedrooms, children's rooms
Drawbacks
Scratches are less visible on matt, but under heavy traffic the coating wears faster than a heavy-duty lacquer.
Wear resistance
Medium
Look
Matt, the wood looks raw
Care
Damp mopping, no refreshing needed

Lakier półmatowy

Semi-matt lacquer, a lacquer for parquet with a light sheen

A lacquer with a light sheen. It shows off the grain of the wood and is easy to keep clean.

Best for
Living areas, kitchens, hallways
Drawbacks
Dust and footprints show more on semi-matt than on matt.
Wear resistance
High
Look
Semi-matt, light sheen
Care
Damp mopping, no refreshing needed

Lakier obiektowy

Heavy-traffic lacquer, a two-component lacquer with higher resistance

The hardest coating on our list. Good where many people walk on the floor.

Best for
Offices, corridors, commercial premises, stairs
Drawbacks
It costs more than ordinary lacquer, and the room needs more ventilation while we work.
Wear resistance
Very high
Look
Matt or semi-matt, your choice
Care
Damp mopping, no refreshing needed

Olej

Oil, a wood oil

It soaks into the wood and does not form a layer on top. The floor looks and feels like natural wood.

Best for
Living rooms, bedrooms, family houses
Drawbacks
It needs regular care and copes with water less well than lacquer.
Wear resistance
Medium
Look
Natural, warm look of the wood
Care
Refreshing with oil from time to time

Olejowosk

Hardwax oil, a wood oil with wax

Oil with a little wax added. It gives a slightly harder surface than plain oil, and the wood still looks natural.

Best for
Living rooms, day rooms, studies
Drawbacks
It needs refreshing, and water stains should be wiped up straight away.
Wear resistance
Medium
Look
Matt, silky to the touch
Care
Refreshing with wax or oil from time to time

Bejca

Stain, for use under lacquer or oil

It changes the colour of the wood and does not replace the finish. After staining we apply lacquer or oil on top.

Best for
Changing the colour of an old or new floor
Drawbacks
The shade comes out differently on different species of wood, so we test it on a small patch.
Wear resistance
Depends on the lacquer or oil on top
Look
Depends on the lacquer or oil on top
Care
As for the finish applied over the stain

Frequently asked questions

All questions

What do I need to do before you arrive?

The room has to be empty. Take out furniture, rugs and small items, and take down anything on the walls that could get dusty. If something cannot be moved, tell us when you ask for a quote.

Can I live in the house during the work?

You can, if there is at least one room where we are not working. For the first hours after lacquering nobody may step on the floor. We use eco-friendly lacquers, but the smell is strongest then. With children or pets it is better to find another place for that time.

Lacquer or oil?

Lacquer forms a hard layer and copes better with heavy traffic and water. Oil leaves the wood closer to its natural look, but it has to be refreshed. We will help you choose after we have seen the floor.

How do you work out the price?

We price by the square metre. It depends on the condition of the floor, the finish you choose and whether anything needs repairing. The quote is free, and we prepare it after seeing the floor or photos of it.
